Hello, On the 1910 Jackson Twp., Texas Co., MO census (first page) is Spencer and Rosia Etta (Snow) Medlock. Listed with them is Frank Kaney...need some comfirmation with this last name please. This is the only record I can find of Frank being from a previous marriage, all other records including Soc. Security have his last name as Medlock. He was born 1889. Rosia is in Audrain Co., MO in 1880 with parents, Abraham and Julia Parks Snow. And she married Spencer Medlock in Texas Co., MO (most probable)in 1891. So somewhere, if not Texas Co., MO., between Audrain and Texas Co., and the years 1880-1891 she was married for a short time to a Kaney???? Any help Greatly Appreciated! Happy Mother's Day Cindy

Hi list I just want to say I agree with Allan on how to get to the cemetery, I am a native Californian and it was easy for me to find (-: I stomped thru all that ivy and stuff to find my Civil War hero, but it was too overgrown. I even went back in the winter and just too thick! That's why we need all the help we can get.... Sat May 11th 8 am I typed up the list of the folks buried there, go to the NM website as Don has posted them. I see so many family names buried there from New Madrid. There will be a family of loggers there, and we are bringing a chain saw , weedeater and bags. Plus the city is willing to haul off what we don't burn! IT WILL BE HARD WORK BUT FUN AND REWARDING! My husband is not "into" my family search but is going with me probably to keep me from hurting myself! haha I also have a notebook full of old photos that belonged to my gg-aunt Kizzie Penick Revelle. She has 2 children buried in New Hope...these photos are turn of the century and some I know and the rest are????? I know some have names on the back we are assuming were family friends. There is Arizona and Gertrude Mathis, Whittenburg ....my family names are Dockery, Shepard, Penick, Pavey, Lackey, Revelle, Pikey, Carpenter, Pickett, Crevosieur, Masters, Jarrett and many more. They lived in the counties of New Madrid~Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Madison and more. So stop by even if it is to say high! And help identify these lost folks! Need an obit of my Great Great Grandma, Emma Flake-McGaughey. I did find my Great Great Grandmother, E. Flake in the 1880 Census, Lowndes County, MS with her children: Martha, Julia, Willey (my Great Grandfather, Wiley Flakes), Net, Margie, and James. Then again, I found Emma in the 1900 Census, Lee County, MS as the head of the household with her children:her Wiley, Oscar,Elber, and Hilliard. Her grand children: Roland, Alma, Wiley,and Mattie lived there too. Later in the 1910 Census, Lee County, MS living with her son, Oscar Flakes and his family. She had her grandson, Clinton ( my Great Uncle who is 102 years old today) with her then. I wish only to find more on her,like when she might have died. Emma was born in Jan 1849 in Lee COunty, AL and moved to Lee County, MS. This is all we know. If anyone knows her story or have access to an obituary of her death, please email me. I am wanting eagerly for a reply of hope.Just to find her in the Census' is wonderful! -Karen
