There has been some discussion of this on the listowners list.... What it appears to be is one subscriber with a poorly set spam filter at their ISP---instead of telling folks that their list post (or telling the list admin that posts) are not being accepted by this person, it claims that you cannot post to the list at all. That is *not* the case: it's simply a case of the mail not getting to that one person, and their ISP having bolluxed up the filter to claim otherwise. Hello to All! My friend had given me more information on her grandmother. Florence's ancestors came from Hanover, Germany. the spelling of their last name in Germany was Dramen but was change to Draman when they had arrived in America. She was born in Cookville, MO. Hi! I want to thank everyone for responding to my quest for Cooksville. Leslie, I also found Cooksville in my 1927 Atlas book. It is where you had said it was in Pulaski County, MO. My next question is . . . Does anyone know who or how I may go about finding the historian for Pulaski County in MO. So I may contact them to find out more on Cooksville, MO.? My friend had told me that her grandmothers last name was Draman but there was a different spelling of it in Germany; but I also need to find out if that was her maiden or married name. Thanks.
