Looking for information about Mildred SWITZER BALDRIDGE, b. 23 June 0?, maybe in MO or IA, m. Alexander Moncure BLOXTON in Indianola, IA on 10 June 1939. They met after Sunday School in Missouri someplace. She died in VA in 1945 of leukemia. I don't know if that is her full maiden name or if she was a widow, i.e. "Miss Switzer" "Mrs. Baldridge". Somone wrote re Cole Younger..My husband's grgrandfather, wm. Manson Fore left in Kearney, MO at the time of the Civil War...he had a livery stable and it is said he sometimes got up in the middle of the night and got fresh horses ready for Jesse James...we visited the area and saw Jesse's grave. In misc notes I have on McDaniel, McDonald, Yates, Fore, etc I have a couple of things of interest: On is from a book by Carl Breihan on Jesse James, among the 40 men who rode with him it mentions Thomas Coleman Younger as well as Robert Ewing Younger...it looks like Cole Younger may have been the same as thomas Coleman? George Shepherd also rode with Jesse, the Shepherd's married into our Yates line. As well as Wells, McDaniels, etc...Ellen Byrne

My grandmother was born in Cooksville,MO in 1895 and lived there for 3 years till they homesteaded to Iowa.
