Hi Everybody, My name is Arthur CHITTENDEN and I am working on a one-name study - worldwide. Any information, no matter how brief, will be greatly appreciated. I shall be happy to assist other CHITTENDEN seekers by doing lookups and where possible putting them in contact with other researchers of our name. Best Wishes Arthur Sydney Australia.

Hello Newton county, Missouri researchers!! Karen and I thought that Dick Puz had an extremely good idea about setting up a MyFamily.com site for anyone researching Newton county so that they could post photos and other information. I just set up that site. However, instead of putting the username and password on the list, email me privately and I will give it to you and add your name to the site so that you can access it. Anyone who wants to be placed on it, will be. I will need your first and last name, gender, and email address in order to be placed on the MyFamily.com site. I think they are great and Karen and I both have our files there, along with a ton of photos. Anyone interested, just let me know. Randy Scott Randy & Karen (Bit by the genealogy bug!!) LTM DO NOT OPEN "NEW PICTURES OF FAMILY" It is a virus that will erase your whole "C" drive. It will come to you in the form of an E-Mail

This virus is a hoax. Check out this site: <A HREF="http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/vinfodb.html">Symantec Security Updates</A>
If it is a hoax it sure made a lot of news media spots, and a warning at government offices.......I would say if you get a email such as this even from a relative, to email the relative and ask if they sent it before opening it.......in fact I email relatives a day or two a head and tell them what I am sending if I send a picture......better safe than sorry...I have the latest virus protection and it does not always eliminate them....sometimes it just quarantines them until they can be erased.
