Hopefully someone in the list knows something about the following Smith family: CHARLES ROANE SMITH was born 1811 Botetourt Co., VA.He was a presbyterian minister and served in various states, including NC, AL, GA, and eventually settled in Grenada Co., MS where he died leaving his wife who lived into the late 1800s. They had a son SAMUEL PRICE SMITH, who was born in Benton Co. (also known as Calhoun Co.) AL in 1846. Samuel Price had seven children, among them was SAMUEL PRICE SMITH II who moved to Dallas, TX where SAMUEL PRICE SMITH III was born. Another son of S.P. II was RANDOLPH SMITH also of Dallas, TX.
