This is your invitation to attend the monthly meeting (February 15, 2001), and to become a member, of the Yalobusha County Historical Society. The Society meets on the third Thursday of each month at 2PM in the Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church, in Coffeeville, MS. Usually there is a short business meeting, followed by a speaker presenting a special program of interest to members and visitors. The speaker this month will be the Honorable James G. (Buster) Trealor, former sheriff of Yalobusha County. The meeting will conclude with a time of fellowship, and refreshments prepared by the ladies of the Society. The Society publishes four times a year the Yalobusha Pioneer, the official journal of the Society, which is mailed to members. Membership in the Society is open to all persons; dues are $15.00 the calender year. Queries in the Pioneer are free to members and non-members are charged $3.00 per query.
