John was living in Sunflower Co., Beat 4, District 21 (Post Office unknown as I have not seen the census) at the time of the 1930 census Children Charley Strickland John W. Strickland James E. Strickland There might be a child named Pete Strickland IRA S. Durham and Birdie Blanche Strickland who were m. ca1916 in MS. Birdie died Oct 1972 in Friars Point, Coahoma Co. MS. I am originally from Coahoma County, Mississippi - born and raised. The only Strickland person I ever knew - and this way before I ever knew I had a Strickland line - was Alvah Strickland.
