    3. Ona: I am having Outlook Express problem and losing mail. I hope that I responded to your message regarding the Wilkinson living in Rankin Co. in 1850 per the census. It just crossed my mind that the Southern Christian Advocate may have many names of those who died from the yellow fever epidemic. I have not looked at those rolls. There is also the New Orleans Picayune which was published early on and reported events from many far away places and perhaps will cover the epidemic.. It will take a bit of time to go through all these newspapers but it may answer the question regarding the Yellow Fever epidemic. Maybe a local genealogical society can take this on as a project?
