I found a Cemetery record of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Clarke Co., MS the web page so genorously placed on the internet by J. D. Mason at www.netpathway.cm/~jdmason/pleasantgrove_cem.htm I would like to know if anyone knows if these earlier family were possibly born in SC. The oldest one appears to be John A. Goodwin b. Oct. 15, 1827; d. July 1, 1896 and Emily Goodwin b. May 22, 1822; d. Oct. 3, 1894. Also Emiline, wife of J. E. Goodwin, born Nov. 4, 1827; d. Apr. 15, 1891.
