Hello Listers, Is there anyone on the list researching the Sims family from Texas or who lived in MS. and then moved to Texas? My aunt Matilda Jumper born Prentiss Co. MS. married a John Sims in Texas 1889-1890. She was 14 at the time of their marriage. John and Matilda both died in 1913 in Gainsville, Texas. They had 3 children Henry Howard, Cecil Pearl and James Eddie. The children were brought back to MS.after the death of their parents by my father and raised by John William and Clemmie Jumper Hicks. John Willaim years later married Cecil Pearl after the death of Clemmie. Her mother Drucilla Pannell Jumper married a William Ponder after the death of James Jumper. Drucilla and William moved to Texas in 1890. Perhaps the Sims and Ponder families went to Texas together? If any of the above info rings a bell with anyone please contact me. Thank you, Evelyn
