I have found a family first in Leland, Washington Co , MS in 1920 then in Greenwood/Leflore Co., MS in 1930 a farmer. I believe the wife is the daughter of my grandfather's brother. She is Erma Goodwin and was living in 1910 in Washington Co. with her mother age 18 and a teacher. Her mother was running a hotel in Glen Allen Village there. In the 1920 census it looks like Erma G. age 27 and in 1930 she was 37. 1930 census Leflore Co. all are white Simmons, Flint W. age 47 cotton farmer b. Ms wife, Emma/Erma age 37 b. MS son William age 17 b. MS daut. Blanch age 11 b. MS I would appreciate hearing if anyone knows of this family. Gladys
