Need someone to give me a 1st grade set of instructions to set up spreadsheet. I have a listing of many hundred documents in SC archives for Savage surname, starts in 1750 about and goes to 1850 My thoughts are that if I could set up a spreadsheet so that I could sort by date and 1st names maybe I could find my John S. Savage that I have been chasing for 27 years. The columns I think I need would be date, 1st name, transaction type and document location. Any volunteers? Have never used Excel before.
