Morning Genies: I looked at the first batch of email.Saw I had a few look up requests. Will try to get to them some time today if I get done all my homework from college. If not, will try to catch up during the week. With Spring just around the corner so to speak, I have a number of engagements to attend. First a jazz festival this coming Friday, and the following Friday, I have a luncheon with my Multi-Culture Club followed by a trip to an Oriental Temple and then a Bowling night with the college Kids. That is going to be one long Friday, Then I have a Theme Park Visit coming up, which I am hoping does not collide this time with Pig Roast at nearby Dayton where a bunch of Motorcycle Enthusiasts will gather for a weekend...All in all, my break from College is going to start with a bang. Before all of that, I have to get my garage cleaned out, So I can get my cycle out and get it running. I know at my age doing all of this, I am crazy. But what the heck, someone has to show these youngsters how to have some fun in life. (SMILE) Forgot to mention the Theme Park means I take my teenage daughter and granddaughter along and they wear me out and make me know my age. With all of that, I will be studying and also doing my genie best for everyone. Which sorta reminds me of something I have wanted to mention. If each of us does a bit of looking up information for others, it tends to create leads for ourselves on those stumbling blocks we often run across. I know some of you have not seen the old records wrote in the scripts and styles of the old languages. Sometimes it takes a professional to decipher them. My wife is very good at that. I am not sure how she does it. I have to have the translations done for me, or else seek out someone who has time to do it when I get those kinds of documents. So we all can do our part. I chose CIVIL WAR because I love the history of that era and of course my numerous relatives who fought on both sides ...Though of course most were Confederate die hards. I ran across a wealth of information for folks from around this area. A room full of records waiting for a good genie to at least give it some alphabetical order. So I also plan to see I can do that and get credit (College) for it over my time off from college. It may lead to my building a web site for that information. DO not know yet. Just know I want to get to it. Wish I had a helper to help me organize photographic history of the Civil War with a cross index of names and of places, etc. Then when someone asks about a person, we could put a photo if available to it, along with history of that particular ancester. I had two ancesters fought in most of the major battles. One died in the fire in the Orchards. Well enough of my ramblings. Time to get to homework. SIN
