If you already have the name of your ancestor and his regiment then it is 15 bucks. that includes any copying. if you copy it yourself at the archives, the service records can be copied 99% of the time for under 2 bucks

Someone on this list gave a web site where inmates of the MS prison could be researched. I failed to mark the site and now I need to use it. Would some kind soul have pity on a sloppy researcher and re-post the web site? I would be very grateful. Kate
