Can someone help me find any census record for Varner families about 1840...my ggfather JOHN ALEXANDER VARNER whoe's father was ROBERT HARVERY (RH) VARNER is said to have lived in Mississippi at the time of his sons birth. On the Civil War Pension Application for John Alexander Varner ..he states he is born in Mississippi and his father R H Varner is born in Penn.
