Hazel; Thank you for your response on the Hutto family. The family in question came from Greene co. in Mississippi. I have never had any luck with Ellen McClain. I have often wandered if her family had anything to do with McLain Mississippi. All the Hutto's seem to have originated from South Carolina. When they migrated out of South Carolina they went to Georgia, Alabama Mississippi and Texas. What info I have shows the city Hutto Texas as the major stopping point in Texas, Clarke Co Alabama as the stopping point in Alabama and Wayne, Jasper, and Jones co. in Mississippi. I have no information on the Hutto's in La. If you find one of the other connections please let me know and I will be glad to share what I have with you.
