I have been searching for information on Abijah WHITE for over a year now and can not find where he came from. All of the census records show his birth place as South Carolina in 1800. He was in Georgia in 1830, then in Alabama, and by 1850 he was in Rankin County Mississippi. Abijah's wife, Missouri, was listed alone in the Simpson county census in 1870, so I assume he died between 1860 and 1870. Abijah's children were Joel WHITE ( married Mary Floyd), Janie(married Phillip Roberts), Sarah(married James Salter and later Phillip Roberts after her sister died).I have nothing at all on his son James.
