    2. Kate, I don't have Wiley Wood, the earliest I know is Elijah Wood born in SC about 1806 married Rosanna Elmore. He and family lived in Clarke County, Ga. in 1840 and on to Holmes County, MS by 1850 where the parents died. My g-gfather John W. Wood came on to Texas by 1880. I think I had someone inquire a good while back about Wiley Wood. Best Wishes, Gladys

    3. Just jumping in to ask if Elizabeth Elmore was a member of the Elmore family who settled in Coweta County Georgia. I am interested in them because of a marriage with a Langford lady from Newberry SC. Am tracking all Langford/Lankford families in the south looking for a link to my family line which began settling in Mississippi from Georgia about 1816 and made their final permanent move into Greene County MS by 1830. Tree Mother "She is insane, of course. The family history has become a mania for her."
