Thanks, SIN for the information. I have Augustus Aycock's service record and I was wondering if anyone had any personal pics or info on the company. By the way....I'm very impressed by your compassion for genealogy and your willingness to help others!!! If I can be of any help in North Mississippi, just let me know. Randy Jones Tupelo, MS Randy: Just as you said, being there to help me when my time comes for help. That is what it is about. As for photos of the 31stl. Mississippi, I have not yet done any cross reference work on photos. However, I have the TIME LIFE Civil War Series of books. The full set. Including index. So that might guide me later to see if I can find ya some kind of photo. I am sure some of the Genealogical Societies of S. Mississippi might have just such a photo. May I make a request of the list? That we get one person in contact with just one of the Genealogical Societies and of course the DAR etc. and try to set up a go between for all of us and we can share our findings with them also. What does everyone think of this idea? SIN

TO: RANDY JONES - I've tried to find your e-mail address, but without any success, so I'm sending this to the list. You offered your help to Ed (SIN) Hall in Northeast Mississippi. Would you also be willing to help somebody else - like me - in Lee County? You did help me tremendously on one e-mail when you told me where my gg grandfather's property was, close to Hwy. 342 in Pontotoc Co., and you sent me a map showing the exact spot where his property and the Zion Church was located. Please reply to me privately. [email protected] Thanks so much for your response. Sue (Johnson) Howard
