I have just been given some information about John Keegan b.c. 1825 Monticello, Law. Co., MS. He was said to be just at the heighth of his career when he was killed in the Courthouse of Monticello. I could not get the date as this person wants to sell his book. I would appreciate any help if there is a record of Lawyers with him listed or anything. This person also said the Keegan family was buried at a lot adjoining Dr. Wilson. The father of John Keegan was Aloysius Michael Keegan d. 1838 and was a Lawyer, Senator, Judge, Represenative. In the book " Lincoln Co., MS, It's People by Yvonne McGlothlin, a newspaper Article in 1900 gave an update of the descendants of A. M. Keegan. In the article they stated John had died sometime previous to that article. I would be greatful for any help. Gladys
