I found guardianship records after the December 1838 death of Aloysius Michael Keegan in Monticello, Lawrence Co., MS. His widow Martha Anderson Crutchfield Keegan (she was named Anderson because of ancestors, she was young and had never married). The records continued until 1854 (I obtained those records from MS archives microfilm) having to have the records kept . There was a will and she was appointed executor then a man was appointed to assist with the two sons needs. They had 5 children , 2 soon married and my g-gmother married in July 1844. Gladys
