Yes, My gg-gf is listed in two different censuses for the same years. The 1850 census for Davidson Co TN lists him in the household of his parents. The 1850 census for Henderson county TN, (halfway across the state) lists him with his wife. One explanation for this hapenning is that the Davidson Co, census was taken in July and the Henderson Co census was taken in October. Due to the ignorance of the census taker, he never specified that the people he wanted to count had to live in the household.
