I am interested in searching for a marriage license for the period of 1882/83 in then Scranton, MS. Anyone know where that would be in this present day? The bride was Jennie ?--married Alexander C. Gordon; they then came to live in Calcasieu Parish, LA, where he had gotten a homestead from the government. She died a year after the wedding.
