    1. new Moorhead, MS list
    2. Hello, If anybody is interested, I just created a new web page for Moorhead, Mississippi (Sunflower County) at Yahoo Groups. It is a friendly discussion group/message board for those researching Moorhead and their ancestors who lived there. Post your family tree, share photos, exchange information and stories about the bygone days of this little town "where the Southern crosses the Yellow Dog." The web page is at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MoorheadMississippiMemories My mom was born in Moorhead in 1922 and grew up there during the Depression. She and her family left and moved north to find work during WWII. I would like to know what life was like in Moorhead during that time frame so I started the Yahoo Group for it in hopes that some of the old time residents are still around who can tell me in words and photos! My ancestors lived in various counties in Mississippi in the early 1800s-early 1900s and even though I've never even been to Mississippi, I feel like I have because I've been lucky enough to have the stories handed down to me. I hope to keep Moorhead alive by finding other researchers who lived there or had family who lived there.
