Bob, The NPS site allows you to do a search and is a good start. If you'll post the name of the person you're trying to find, I'll see what's available. It would help to know where he resided before the War. I am looking for the following book: "DIED of YELLOW FEVER, 1853" by Gordon Cotton. For only 1853, it covers the towns of: Yazoo City, Vicksburg, Warrenton, Port Gibson, Woodville, Fort Adams, and Jackson. There is one at the MS Archives, and one at the Old Courthouse Museum Library [Vicksburg]. Would like to find one in a public library that I can easily travel to [without going to MS Archives in Jackson]. Does anyone know if the Old Courthouse Museum Library is open to the public?? NONE of the following libraries have the book: Warren-Vicksburg Public Library Harriet Person Memorial Library [Port Gibson] Jackson County Public Library Thanks,
