I am trying to find all information about my Grandfather Edgar "Ed" EDMISTON, Who was born in Mississippi 1871 although there is not much on EDMISTON's on the Mississippi sites, on the 1910 Shelby County federal census it says he was born in MS. I want to share this with everyone and if anyone has access to records past 1915 to 1930 in Byhalia, Marshall County, MS. I remember as a child my Father born 1915 would walk into the room where his father, my grandfather Edgar "Ed" EDMISTON was in and Edgar would say " Buster do you remember Byhalia?", and both of them all of a sudden would start laughing so hard that tears would fill their eyes and they would almost fall to the floor when my Father would say, "sure I remember Byhalia." Now my Father was a good man but in his younger years he drank a lot and he had a bad temper and even when he was not drinking he would fight you at the drop of a hat, I believe that something big happened in Byhalia and it would not surprise me if they tore the town up.
