I am searching for any living descendants of Bennett Quimby who came from Al, to Lauderdale Or Clark Co. Ms. One of his daughters Harriet Caroline Quimby 1851-1924 married John William Griffith Sr. She was born in Clark Co. and died at Russell,Lauderdale Co. Ms. Notes sent to me also has John Griffith married to Mary A. Quimby same dates. Another daughter Susan married Ben Parker and died at Sharon, Ms. I am trying to establish which James Quimby is my ggg grandfather. His daughter Milly married Elihue Smith July 1840 in Sumter Co.
