    3. Another easy way is to find a siblings birth/death certificate... I sent for my paternal g/m's death cert...her youngest son, gave the information...which was all wrong! My g/m had a brother that my father gave the information for and I got at least one correct name, my dad didn't know the mother's name, but knew the father's...so with that and census I pieced the puzzle together and got the correct info....
