Fill out the post-it note on the Rootsweb site where they have the SSDI. I have posted on each of mine that I have a copy and that person is my relative and I leave my web site URL, too. I have also posted a request on one that I would like to have a copy of, if anyone else happens to have it. We can only circumvent the cost to a degree. When we get down to needing one that nobody else seems to have, then we either pay the cost or forget about it.
