Hi Beverly, The only way that you can obtain a death certificate for this age range is to be a very close relative such as a (Children,Mother,Father,Sister,Brother). You may try asking a her child, sister or brother. Or You can send a letter stating that you only want the deceased parents and place of birth, along with a SASE. This works for me at time.
