1850 Tippah county Mississippi lists Daniel W. Vale who is age 43 born Va. His wife was Mary J. age 40 born S.C.Children: Minerva, Granberry, Calvin, Ann, Sarah, Ginn?, Mary, Riley, James W. Vale, Lewis G. Alison, Susan. Mary was born in Ms. and then Riley was born in Tn. James W. born in Al. so does anyone recognize any of these children? My interest is my gggrandmother married a Jesse Daniel W. Vail in Pope county Arkansas in 1860. She is back under her former married name in 1870 Pope county Arkansas. Am trying to find his military record to send for his file. Thought maybe he may have mentioned a wife named Winnie Parker Woolcutt Vail born 1816 S.C. Thank you.
