    3. The LangfordLankfords were from Georgia and migrated to Mississippi about 1816. The Goynes were also from Georgia and migrated to Spanish West Florida about 1803. There was no connection between these two families prior to marriages of other families into which both Goynes and Langfords married creating my lineage. Interestingly both family groups were Virginians and lived in South Carolina during the Rev. War. Tree Mother PS: There is a Langford DNA project which was created to help solve the mystery of all those Langford/Lankford family lines. "She is insane, of course.
