Tom, Since alot of cemetery publications are generated by wonderful folks who will walk a cemetery transcribing headstones, you should try finding the sexton of this cemetery who might hold the original cemetery index cards from the 1860's burials. You might be surprised. After years of research, I found my way to the sexton of the Union Cemetery in Leesburg who found in his records some 'index cards' from 1861 noting the burial of my great great uncle who died, according to his CSR records, in a Leesburg hospital in November 1861. No headstone exists today as the original wooden crosses were most likely used for firewood, or eventually succumbed to the elements. With him are about 200 Mississippi patriots who fell to the horrors of the War and disease. My search, like yours, was very frustrating until I found this fine young man who made this old man cry. My research was assisted, among many, by those fine folks over at the MSCWMB that you use. Don't give up...
