Do you have a Soloman and Mary (maiden name unknown) Creel in your database? There was a wagon train that came from Washington Co., FL to LA, some probably went on to TX and points beyond. In this train were some Nichols and Creels to settle in Rapides Parish, LA. James Turner Nichols and his wife Mary Creel came to Rapides parish with their family. Because Mary was in poor health her sister, Minerva with them to help with the children. After Mary's death he married Minerva. Mary and Minerva were daughters of Soloman and Mary Creel. Hazel
