Hazel, I hope I'm not being a "butt-in" (but I guess I am). I was hoping I could get you to look up at least one marriage for me. If you are agreeable, I need a marriage lookup for a Ransom H. Brown to a Nancy Dumas. I don't know if it took place in Neshoba Co., MS or Copiah Co., MS (where they ended up) between 1860 and 1870. Carolyn, I searched the Mississippi marriage records but didn't find Ransom listed although I did find him listed in the census records as follows: I do find a marriage record for a Nancy Dumas thats in Arkansas but it doesn't match what your looking for, I also posted in below as well....Paula Ransom Brown found in: US - Census Index (1840) Township: Not Stated County: Warren State: Mississippi Roll: 217 Page: 280 Nancy E. Carolyn, I could not find a Ransom Brown. I did find a Nancy Dumas who married a William Fox on Nov. 17, 1841 in Winston Co., MS. Sorry I couldn't help you more than this. Hazel
