I saw T.J. Payne, but he doesn't seem to fit. Now I'm going page to page in Rankin county. I have access to both Ancestry and HQ. Ancestry misses names sometimes or misspells them. I think Thomas' mother's name was Mary, because she is living with Thomas and family in 1870 and listed as 60 yrs old. According to my Aunt's bible Thomas had two brothers, William and Arthur and a sister Virginia. Thanks for the help, I could sure use another pair of eyes.
