    3. Thomas, I am sending all of the Covington county marriage records for Yates that is included in my records....these are the only ones mine show...although you may want to make sure there isn't another location that also would include marriage records that may be for him...see sometime with the boundary changes the marriage location isn't always the same...an example is like for my grandfather he married in Tishomingo County in 1850 and remarried again in 1870 so then his marriage was listed in Prentiss County instead because of Boundary changes ( he never moved between 1850 & 1870 but the counties did)...anyway...I hope you find something that will help...Paula Yates, A. 2. DOES THE MG RECORD SHOW WHO THE PARENTS WERE? or where he was from? The 1870 census shows born in Ms, but I wonder. I HAVE BEEN WONDERING IF REV JOSHUA NOWELL KEPT A FAMILY BIBLE WITH NAMES OF KIN IN IT. BEING A REV AND ALL SEEMS LIKE THERE should be SOMEONE who would HAVE THESE RECORDS. I know he is buried in Myrick Cemetary, near Laurel, Miss. I have visited that cemetary, as that is where his brother William Nowell Nowell is buried and he was my father in law's father. Rev Joshua Nowell was my husband's great uncle. Is there perhaps a list of the people who died in Wayne County. Ms, as I am sure Sarah M. Nowell died after 1880 and before 1890 as she is on the census of 1880 living with Joshua Nowell her son. Any information you can give me about this family will be appreciated, Cecile D. 2. I am searching for a marriage record for William Nowell who married Sarah Mozingo, the 1870 census shows her having a child born in 1860 so I have to assume her marriage took place a little before 1860. These two people were the parents of Rev Joshua Nowell of Wayne county, ms. The census shows Sarah as age 44 and being born in 1826. I have found her parents as William Mozingo and Catherine Shirley originally from Darlington North Caroline, migrating to Choctow County, Alabama where Sarah was born. I do not know where William and Sarah married, whether in Ala or Ms. I have been unable to find any information whatsoever on William Nowell the father of Rev Joshua Nowell. If the marriage license shows his parents please could I have that information also. Please help if you can. It would be greatly appreciated. Cecile D. Nowell
