    1. I need an obituary lookup
    2. Carolyn Sue Howard
    3. I am trying to find the grandson of my relative, Janet Wedel (Walker) Turner, who died in Mississippi - I believe somewhere around Meridian - on July 14, 1993. Janet was my niece, even though she was four years older than I. She was the daughter of one of my oldest siblings. She was born on October 26, 1932, and married a William Turner, after having graduated from high school in Corpus Christi, Texas, and then moving to live with another one of my brothers and his wife in Biloxi, Mississippi. Bill Turner was in the Air Force, stationed in Biloxi. They only had one child - Betty Turner. I only saw Betty once. I know that she married, but I don't know who she married. I think she had one child, herself, a son, but I also don't know his name. The family has not been close for quite a few years and we all got scattered around the US. I would love to find this grandson of Janet's. The only thing I can think of is maybe in an obituary about Janet, it would give her fam! ily's names. Is there anybody who could do this for me? It would be greatly appreciated. This grandson needs to know that he has many other relatives who would love to know him. He would be my great, great nephew! I know that Betty also died at a fairly young age, so that's another reason it's hard to find anything out. Thanks in advance. This is what I need - to reiterate: The obituary for Janet Wedel (Walker) Turner - DOD July 14, 1993. Sue Howard

    1. Re: [MISSISSIPPI] Hinds Co. Cemetery books /lookup
    2. Mary Collins Landin published the cemetery book for Hinds County and in that book it is noted that the cemetery was not record being so new. I did some checking and have found that Jackson Memorial Cemetery is now Lakewood South and is located on McClure road. Lakewood Memorial Parks and Funeral Home is owned by Lakewood South. The telephone number for Lakewood is 601-922-2123. They may or may not be able to help you.

    2. Bobbye Davis
    3. Does any one have any cemetery books of Hinds Co. that you can do lookups in? I am looking for dates on Ulmer Jackson Pierce Sr. May have died @1961 not sure. Need birth and death dates. Ulmer Jackson Pierce Jr. Need both dates on him. Both are buried in Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Although the cemetery its self is listed on the Hinds Co. page there isn't any information on who is buried there. It would be nice if someone would furnish us the information on line of all those cemeteries.

    3. Hi Ona: Still doing the Collegfe thing here. Some of it is done, but still have quite a bit of data to input from hard comp. But that should not take me too long once I can get out of the college scene. Planning to catch up come this summer. Just making it till then is killing me. Have a law class and two other classes are heck on me. Quite a bit of home work and I mean every weekend too. I still check everything that someone sends from the list. So if I am needed for a lookup that is special, I try to do what I can, just limited timewise for now is all. Do not give up on me, I will be back in there soon as possible.
