Is there a list of ships that came into the ports of New Orleans? Florida? South Carolina? Mobile, Alabama? Mississippi? and passenger lists? (for any year) thanks pat Kendrick_@webtv.com
Good advice is NOT to open any attachments coming through the lists. I sent a message last night, much like yours, and rec'd back from someone on the list an attachment containg the virus. Adn here is a reply I rec'd from another listee about the virus: <<Armenta is infected with the virus. The badtrans virus mails itself to any unread emails in her system, so when your virus message went to her system, the virus immediately replied. As long as you haven't opened the attachment, you will be safe. Just delete it quickly, and make sure that your virus checker is up to date. For those of you who haven't yet got a virus checker (why not?????) go to http://antivirus.cai.com/ where you can download a totally free virus checker that has a lifetime of free upgrades, and if you sign up to their newsletter, they will keep you informed about viruses. Above all, do not open any attachments from any one unless you have previously agreed to it being sent. Sheelagh>>>> I hope this helps some one out there. Helping you may help me in the future..... I don't want the virus either. If you get an old message supposedly from me with an attachment, do not open it...I did not send it... Someone stole my Address book and is sending out old messages with an attachment that has a file extension of SCR. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN IT...Delete it...and then erase it from your trash can... Neither Norton nor McAfee Antivirus have recognized it... Again, I am sorry, but I had nothing to do with it... What can be gleaned from an 1896 marriage record other than the participants and dates? Any parential references or birth places, etc. I have the receipt that was removed from the bottom of the paper file with the Circuit Court clerk. Christmas begins it and Easter completes it
I have a Huldy Catherine Smith, who married Martin Van Buren Baldridge...lived in Carroll County, MS in mid-late 1800's....maybe this is a connection to some of your Smiths, since Fayette Co., AL had a large number of people migrate to Carroll and Attala Counties. Hi, Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for Oliver Harper, his children, parents, siblings. He is listed on the 1840 Leake census. At the library I found that there were 11 people in this family, oh how I wish they had listed names on that census. Here are some of the names that I know of in this family. Oliver, Catherine, George, Hiram, Levi. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank you for any information, Anne Harper
