Clyde I enjoyed the story of the murder also. Just copied it to put with my cemetery listings of Livingston Co. cemeteries. Also I have a few of the Lewis family in my family tree. I am sure I have a few pictures of Fern Lewis with my mother and the family. One I think was of Fern and my Mom who were dressed up like a bride and groom just for the fun of it. I think Fern was wearing some of my Uncles clothes and Mom with what may have been a lace curtain for a veil when they were clowning around. My Dad, ( Mike Bristol ) used to run around with Toby, "Harold" alot. Toby and Fern were cousins of my mom, Flora Belle Hayner, by the way Mom's birthday is today and she is now 101 years old and living in her own home alone. My Dad saw was at Toby's house and saw a picture of my Mom and asked Toby if he could get a copy of it for him. My Dad didn't know my Mom at all then. He promised to pay Toby if he could get a copy of the picture. So Toby did, and Mom never knew until after they were married and moving into their new home-or apartment, and when unpacking some of my Dad's things she came across te picture and asked where he got it. So he confessed what he had done. So it was the picture that was the reason my Dad met and married my Mom. I would be interested in knowing if these Lewis's are related and if so, how and what other family names we share. Such as Alta Brown who married George Elmer Barnhouse and his parents Oliver Barnhouse who I think married Ella Rose Barnhouse.
