I am trying to find parents or grandparents of Samuel Grant b. 1794 NH and wife Mehitable Taylor b. 1794 MA. I have all of the descendants back to Shiawassee, MI where they are buried. They lived in Sodus, Wayne Cty., NY in early 1800's and moved to MI. They are my gggGrandparents All census records show these states as their birthplace. Census show Taylor's lived near them in MI....Mrs. Grant may have had a brother named Othniel, James, John or relative Jno or Ino per census records of Sodus, NY.
