I am looking for death records for Lewis Hallett and Ruth Hallock Hallett. He was living in Shiawassee Co as of the 1880 census, was listed as a widower. His wife Ruth was still living in 1850. I have not been able to locate their names on the 1860-1870 census. The county web site says that only in-person requests for death records can be made.
