I am new to this web site, but hope your experience can help me. My great-grandfather was Gilbert H. Sawyer (1856 - 1941). He lived in or near Elsie and Ovid all his life raising four children, Lena, Fred, James, and Mary Amanda. His wife Frances died in 1932 after Lena, James, and Fred died. While I have much information on Gilbert and his children, I have almost no information on his father and mother. I do know his father, Jerome Richard Sawyer, was born about 1810 in Massachusetts, New York, or Vermont. He married Eliza Clement in 1846 in Clinton County. He owned land in Middlebury Township, Section 15. But, who were his parents, his brothers and sisters, and where was he born? I hope someone knew the family or has knowledge of Jerome and his past. Can anyone help me with Jerome? Betsy

If you were trying to access the links under Table of Content on the home page, please click on the TABLE OF CONTENTS that is underlined and you should be able to get were you want to go.
