Akhsah and Dr. Simonson lived next door to my family when I was little. Dr. Simonson delivered me. He was killed in an automobile accident when I was little, but I remember Akhsah very well. My sister, who is 14 years older than I am, loves to tell how she worked for Akhsah for 10 cents an hour cleaning house. Ebenezer Litchfield was the son of Joseph Litchfield and Julia Nethaway. Julia was Joseph's second wife. His first wife was Dorcus "Doris" Downie, my great grandmother's sister. Doris died at a very young age. She and Joseph did not have any children. My family kept Joseph in the family and included Julia in the family, too.
