    2. There are Putnams in this area yet today. The name Cordray is familiar to me, too. I'm sure we have something on them in the Elsie Historical Room. I don't recall those names being old names in the area, but that doesn't mean that they weren't. What were the first names of the people you are interested in knowing about? Leota Kajdas

    3. I'm not the first person, Jan, that requested information on the Cordrays. I am looking for information on Sanford and Mary, and later, Sanford and Flora Cordray. They are buried in the Elsie Cemetery west of town. Bert Cordray moved to Bannister after he married, first to Mary Nelson, later to Ivah Robinson. I do watch these emails for information on our families! Thanks for taking the time to look all these names up. I hope to get to Elsie when the weather is just a little nicer! 3. My ggrandparents were Myron and Anna Putnam. Their children were Elwyn, Herbert and Ethel. They attended Kelsey school. My grandfather was George Cordray (parents Milford and Mary Ann) and he was a country school teacher in the Bannister area. thanks, Jan B.
