I am researching the DAVIS surname in Shiawassee County - at this point am being all inclusive until I figure out who begot whom. However, my "main" Davises are: Samuel (wife Sarah/Sally) Hiram (wife Eliza/Elizabeth M. Harder) Nicholas (wife E. Julia) Washington (wife Angeline Brown, wife Alice Spoor) R. Hiram Lilly Jay Elizabeth Jacob H. Ausen/Auson Horton William Estelle Samuel N. (wife Carrie Crane) Stephen Arthur Winnifred Glen Frankie J. Clare And...there are many others. I would love to share info/brainstorm, etc. with anyone that may be looking at these names, have info on any of them, or who might be researching other Davis names in Shiawassee County. Am also researching the Joscelyn/Joslin surname...they also connect to the Davises.
