Hi Judy, I would love to know about the Ralph Lee Davis family - thank you! Do you also know who Ralph's parents might have been? I've been trying to look at what information is out there about the Davis families that lived in Shiawassee County in the 1800's and to discern which ones were related and how...so every bit of info is another piece of the puzzle for me (or not, as the case might be!) Unfortunately, I have no living contacts so far in the county...that might have made things a bit easier:) Kathy in Missouri _bkssfish@aol.com_ (mailto:bkssfish@aol.com) ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Hi Kathy, Here is what I have: Ralph Lee Davis b. 03 Aug 1886, d. in Flint 29 Nov 1969, m. 18 Oct 1912 Olive Augusta Brown, b. 14 Nov 1892 in Shiawassee, d. 29 Dec. 1968. Their children are: Florence Lavina Davis, b. 06 Feb 1914 in New Haven Shiawassee, MI, and D 20 Oct 1984 She m. Clifford C. Mallery, b.31 Jan 1912, and d. 06 Oct 1983 in Flint, Genesee, MI. Floyd Erwin Davis, b. 06 Feb 1914, and d. 14 Sept 1996. He married Gaytha C Rowley 06 Mar 1930. Whe was b 10 Apr 1914 and d. 22 Sept 1987. Orval Ray Davis was b. 16 Feb. 1919 in New Haven, and died 24 May 1994. He married Dorothy J. Schultz, b. abt 1920, and d. 1978. I think Ralph's father was George H. Davis, b. abt 1845, but Olive Augusta Brown's parents were Aden Clarence and Lavina Hannah Morden, both b. in Shiawassee county. It is the Brown family that we are related to. Aden's father, Martin T Brown, is our gg grandfather. It seems like there would be living descendants in Shiawassee county. Maybe down the road I will find some. Hope this fills in a few blanks for you, Judy > From: BKSSFISH@aol.com > Date: Wed, 19 Sep 2007 06:17:28 -0400 > To: mishiawa@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [MISHIAWA] surname DAVIS > > Hi Judy, > > I would love to know about the Ralph Lee Davis family - thank you!
