    1. [MISHIAWA-L] ROSELAWN CEMETERY - SOUTH OF PERRY ON ELLSWORTH ROAD.
    2. Dale Willett
    3. Thank you for the many replies I am getting. I have gone to the site on the Shia. Page. I have recorded the section and the row for the stones I am looking for. I have made two trips to the cemetery, with no results. I then came home and checked my info. The site says: ROSELAWN CEMETERY - SOUTH OF PERRY ON ELLSWORTH ROAD. I used the roads in the cementery to divided the cementery into sections. I listed the sections on the list, so if you are looking for a particular grave, you can use this as a guide. Section A, B, C, D and E, are the older sections of the cementery and on the South side of Ellsworth Road. The rows in these sections run North to the South, starting row 1 on the north west most corner. Sections F, G, H, I and J are in the newest part of the cementery and on the North side of Ellsworth Road. The rows in these sections run South to the North, starting row 1 on the south west most corner. >From the above, it is easy to figure out the rows. I do not seem to find how the sections are arranged by the above instructions other than which are in the old section or the new section. I am looking in the old section. Some of you seem to be familiar with the cemetery. How do I figure out which is section B and section C? Thanks for all the responses. dale ===== www.willett.org www.willett.org/forsale Stedman.Willett.Lindsey.Fleming.Harman.Patton.Tereau.Hesch __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 3. I would like to welcome those of you new to this site and tell you there are some really great folks who are willing to help just for the asking. I, myself do Volunteer research at Andersonville Civil War Prison in Andersonville Georgia. There are Any research I do is absolutely at NO cost and I am willing to do what I can. There are 1376 prisoners on record from the state of Illinois and the almost 800 known from Illinois who died here, I thought I would send my offer. Here are my sources of research. There are 2 online databases to do lookups.....One by name...one by Company and Regiment. I also have a copy of the Dorence Atwater Death list which has the names and grave numbers of 12960 graves with only 460 marked as " UNKNOWN " This along with a CD I have which contains 34,000 names of the 45,000 who were imprisoned there which helps me find prisoner records because of misspellings of the names or alternate names. I visit the prison site every couple of weeks and have access to the onsite databases as well as the physical files. I would like to let you know of another service I offer which is to take photos of graves for a small fee. Please do not consider this spam as my research offer is FREE for the asking and will be posted on this county site only once. If there is anything I can do in helping your research at Andersonville, please just ask. Every attempt just gets me more confused. I THINK he is using his first initial A. with middle name Walter or Walters (That last squiggle might be the beginning of an H to begin his surname), but as for his surname -- I give up!
