There is an Earnest and Ella Cummin family but no Cummings. Nancy
I have to ask you about your Curtis family, Vernon. My William Thompson Curtis moved from Madison NY to Genoa MI about 1825 or 30. There was a long line of Joseph Curtis men before him. Nancy
Sorry, Carol, no Placeways. Nancy
Surprise, it seems I do have Placeway cousins out there after all. I went to the site for Alta Jpnes Placeway, and noticed the Andrews name that was connected to my line, and back to the Morris Andrews which no further information for him was available. I have more information and also had a picture of him. And I am always willing to exchange information. Eva (Bristol) Butler

I've got more info on this family for any who are interested, as William is my GGF. He was married before, and Leslie (my GF) and Kenneth, along with Alan, were their sons. William and Florence had two daughters, Lois and Virginia. I'm not sure who Wesley is (perhaps a mis-recollection of Leslie?). Lulu, William's first wife, died in childbirth. Florence was Alan's kindergarten teacher at the time, and compassion for his family blossomed into romance. That's the kind of story that keeps me going in genealogy! Thanks, Nancy, for all your kind work on this. -Scott Burgess On Nov 13, 2006, at 12:14 PM, bartinsca@aol.com wrote: > William Burgess of 121 S.
