    3. Hi Ralph, Sure. It is on the last part of Scribner Rd, before you get to Livingston County, section 33. Scribner Rd Cemetery is another name for it. I am glad you asked, and thought maybe I should post directions, because we had hard time getting there, not realizing that Scribner Rd. does not run straight through, even when it looks like it does on the map,but is broken up more than once. We finally took Lansing Rd south to Beard Rd,east. It is a short distance south,I think, on Scribner. (Sorry, I don't have the map with me.)The cemetery is on the west side, with a farmer's type gate and grassy mowed entrance to a small hill, surrounded by farms with horses. No cemetery sign. One great great grandfather, Philander Gleason, at Durfey, served in the Civil War, Michigan Cavalry, 6th regiment, but was no flag or marker to indicate his service. Is there anything I can do about this? Also at Pinetree, another great great grandfather, Martin T Brown, had a metal marker stuck between his and his daughter Myrtle's headstones (stones are very close together). It had a bird with a leafy branch in his mouth (Dove?) at the top, and what looked like 3 chain links connected to each other horizontally below the bird. This marker was gray in color, and about 18 inches high. I wondered if anyone knew anything about this kind of marker. Any reply about these 2 topics would be very much appreciated.....Judy Gleason
